Ramban,Banihal neglected by successive Govts on all fronts: Dr Jitendra 11/16/2014 12:14:34 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 15 : Embarking an aggressive election campaign, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS in PMO, Atomic Energy and Space, DrJitendra Singh today said that both the Ramban and Banihal continued to remain undeveloped and backward as the successive governments in the State have deliberately neglected these areas. Addressing enthusiastic crowds at Charota, Rajgarh, Mohmangat and Ukhral in Ramban and Banihal Assembly Constituencies, Dr Jitendra Singh said, ""In spite of hundreds of crores of rupees being pumped in through Central Funds, the reason is very simple that the successive governments in the State have deliberately neglected Ramban and Banihal for political considerations." "Congress and National Conference had their priorities placed elsewhere and did not allow these regions to grow and be kept perpetually deprived of the benefits of tourism, education and youth employment," he said. Making a dig at those leaders who misguided these innocent people by saying that a BJP government will be biased against certain communities or castes, DrJitendra Singh said, these leaders should first be asked why, in that case, they make a beeline to present bouquets of flowers to NarendraModi and seek to be in his good books. He said, "Leaders from all the political parties are today constrained to acknowledge the universal popularity and supremacy of NarendraModi, but when it comes for election campaigning, they mischievously instigate the voter not to vote for NarendraModi or his Party. "Time has come to install a government in the State which is fully accountable to the people for each penny spent from the Central Grants, but this is possible only if we have a BJP government in the State, which is totally accountable to the BJP leadership at the Centre.
