JKDF merges into BJP, pledges to mobilize people to achieve Mission 44+ | | | Jammu, Nov 15: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) State President Anil Gupta today announced the merger of his party into Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), in an impressive occasion where the entire team pledged to work for strengthening BJP and mobilizing public opinion for achieving Mission 44+. In an impressive function held at Eden Garden on Akhnoor Road, President JKDF Anil Gupta and his team formally was welcomed into the party fold by BJP MP and J&K in-charge AvinashRaiKhanna, State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, National Executive Member Shamsher Singh Manhas, BJP State Spokesperson & State Election Media InchargeArun Kumar Gupta, Party Spokespersons- Farooq Khan and Sunil Sethi (Adv.), BJP Kashmir Cell National Co-convener Chander Mohan Sharma, Party MLA Bharat Bushan, Jammu West Candidate Sat Sharma and other leaders. BJP MP and J&K in-charge AvinashRaiKhanna, on this occasion said that with each passing day the BJP parivar is getting more and more larger with the joining and mergers of other political parties has frustrated the parties like NC, Congress and PDP. They are feeling helpless in facing the public while our candidates are getting over whelming response, he added. While welcoming the JKDF's merger, State president and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma said, "The efforts of Anil Gupta and his colleagues will prove to be boon for party. Anil Gupta who rejoined BJP said that he has always worked for strengthening the nationalist forces and defeating the designs of anti-national forces and has found BJP as only option which is strong enough to safe guard the national interests in Jammu and Kashmir. |
