It was 'power show' as contestants file nominations in Vijaypur

Vijaypur, Nov 19: Various political leaders from mainstream political parties filed their nomination papers before the Returning Officer, the contesting candidates from Congress, PDP and BJP came along with huge number of supporters and drum beats.
Following a large number of supporters in the shape of rallies passed through Vijaypur main market to BDO Block ground S Manjit Singh from Congress Party, DrHarmesh Singh Slathia candidate PDP and ChanderPrakash Ganga from BJP filed their nominations after a small intervals of time.
Addressing his supporters, BJP candidate from VijaypurChanderParkash Ganga optimistically said that we (party) are going to achieve our mission of 44+ seats in J&K to fulfill the aspirations of people of the state. DrHarmesh Singh Slathia from PDP in his address assured people that their genuine demands were fulfilled, specially increase of widow/old age pension and establishment of Women degree college in Vijaypur.
