Judge Anti corruption Puneet Gupta on the basis of few lacunas and directed SSP Vigilance to reinvestigate the case in a more professional manner. Later, during investigation, it was realized by the Vigilance that there were weak evidences against the alleged accused patwari and the matter was apprised to the then Vigilance Commissioner P.L Gupta. Realizing fault on their part, investigating officer Inspector Pawan Kumar filed closure report of the case in January 2014 but the court did not accept it and ordered reinvestigation of the case. The re- investigation of the case was carried out by Inspector Kamal Sangara under the supervision of SSP Vigilance R.K Chalotra who again submitted the closure report in elaborated manner recommending registration of case against Asha Rani and Riaz Ahmed Malik which was accepted by the court. |
