Two houses gutted in Padder 12/5/2014 11:45:36 PM Kishtwar, Dec 5: Two houses gutted in an accidental fire today in a remote Ishtyari village of Padder Tehsil some 80 KM from Kishtwar. As per the details available with "Early times", the fire broke out at around 2 PM today and soon it engulfed a three storey building owned by Pyare Lal son of Mangal Singh and Prem Lal son of Daya Ram both residents of Ishtyari Padder. As soon as the incident took place, the villagers raised the alarm and rushed to the spot to douse the flaming houses but the intensity of fire was high and their attempts turned futile. Sources said that the cause of fire is said to be the firewood furnace used by the house owners to keep their homes warm in ongoing severe cold conditions. Later officials of police and local administration also rushed to the spot to take stock of the damages. Police also have registered an FIR and started its investigation.
