PDP holds series of public meetings in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 5: Giving further momentum to its poll campaigning, the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) today held series of public meetings in rural areas of District Kathua. In one of the rallies organized at Jarai, PDP candidate from Kathua Subash Sharma, while addressing the gathering said that time has come when people should come on PDP platform in order to realize the dream of good governance. Sharma further said that three years of PDP rule under the leadership of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was the golden era in Jammu and Kashmir and even today people remember that phase. He said that people are still suffering due to lack of basic amenities but existing coalition government and former MLAs of the constituency deliberately ignored such vital issues. Sharma said that there is a strong wave in favour of the PDP in this election as people are fed up of the present regime and they dream to have good governance which can address their problems. Sharma was accompanied by Election Campaign Incharge Surinder Singh, District President (Urban) Guru Prasad Verma, District President Rural Ganga Ram and Vinod Gupta were also present. |
