If Pakistan can't stop these attacks, let it ask India for help: Rajnath Singh 12/5/2014 11:54:08 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 5 : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday lashed out at Islamabad for giving refuge to terrorists and said that Pakistan should stop terrorist activities directed against India. The minister also said that in case Pakistan is unable to stop terrorists, then India is willing to help. "Pakistan should take an initiative to stop all this, if they can't stop, then they should talk to India about it. India is willing to help them," Singh told the media after militant attacks in several areas of poll-bound Jammu and Kashmir. "Why is it that people who indulge in terror activities hide in Pakistan? Shouldn't Pakistan answer this?" he asked. Jammu and Kashmir, which is in the midst of its five-phase state assembly elections, on Friday saw four terror attacks, which were aimed at dissuading people from participating in the democratic process.The first attack, a pre-dawn hit on an army camp in the Uri sector of Baramullah reportedly left eight army personnel and three state policemen dead. In the operation, six militants were also killed. The second attack took place in the state's capital Srinagar. Firing between militants and security forces left one militant dead. The operation was still underway as of 4 p.m. The third and fourth attack consisted of grenades being flung in Pulwama and Shopian. No casualties have been reported as of 4 p.m. These attacks are also seen as a warning to various political parties, who had previously stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had chosen ballots, not bullets to voice their opinion. Over the past week, the state has seen one act of terrorism per day, but the brave citizens of the state stepped out to cast their votes.
