| NC, PDP, Cong responsible for corruption, mis-governance: Rajnath | | |  Rajouri, Dec 5 : Lambasting Congress, National Conference (NC) and PDP for their anti people policies in the state as well as at the Center, Rajnath Singh, former BJP president and Union Home Minister said that these parties are responsible for price rise, corruption and misgovernance. Singh is the first Union Home Minister to address rallies at Kotranka and Thanamandi, both Muslim dominated areas where he appreciated the people of the district who stood shoulder to shoulder with security forces to fight three wars with Pakistan and Pakistan sponsored terrorism.
Reacting on today's terrorists attack in Kashmir valley in which 11 security forces personnel were killed and 8 terrorists were eliminated by the forces, he said that Pakistan is sponsoring terrorism and giving shelter and training to the terrorists."After every such attack Pakistan says that it is not Pakistan but some terrorist organizations may be involved in such attacks. If, Pakistan is not responsible, then why it is not condemning such attacks. Pakistan should take immediate steps to stop such attacks and if it is not capable to stop them, they should seek our help" said he. Rajnath Singh said if Pakistan want any progress in initiating suspended talks between two governments, Pakistan should contact our Prime Minister. " Our Prime Ministers including Bajpai ji had expressed India's wishes to live in peace with our neighbourers, as was said by Bajpai ji that friend can be changed but not neighbourers. But our neighbourers every time foiled our attempts to establish peace and progress in the region and instead extending its response Pakistan responded negatively including Kargil intrusion, cross border terrorism ad militants attacks o our soil" said Home Minister. On India's stand to reinstate suspended talks, Home Minister said, " Our stand o this issue is very clear. No more destruction will be allowed and if Pakistan want to carry on suspended talks it should approach our Prime Minister".
He didn't speak on Article 370, issue of west Pakista refugees, dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits but said that during last 6 months the Union government has decreased the prices of the petrol and diseal ad also curtailed the rising prices.On railway line from Katra to Poonch, increase in the pay of SPOs, special recruitment drive for the youth of Rajouri-Poonch districts, repair of Rajouri-Thannamandi road connecting Mughal road at Bafliaz (in Poonch district) , Singh said he can't speak on these issue due to implementation of MCC but said all the issues are under consideration and would be discussed after elections. Singh said that Congress, National Conference and PDP are telling people that Muslims can't go with BJP but large number of leaders, including Muslims , are becoming part of BJP and contesting on it mandates. Those who joined BJP in the presence of Rajnath Singh include Mubin Malik senior politician, Nazir Ahmed Ghanai, independent candidate (Rajouri constituency) who withdraw in favor of Ch Talib Hussain,Rajesh Balistate vice president Youth National Conference (YNC), Abdul Ghani Shawl, retd teacher, Anam Choudhry, Congress senior leaderSanjay Sawhney, state president, Sanjay Ghadhi Brigade and Bashir Ahmed Pir a scholar and religious leader. Those were present on the occasion include Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP state president , Vibodh Gupta , state vice president, Bharat Bhusan Vaid, district , BJP president and Talib Hussain , BJP candidate from Rajouri constituency. |
