Suram urges people to vote PDP to end misrule, corruption | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 8: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Marh Assembly, Suram Singh Chib on Monday urged the people to vote for his party to end misrule and corruption in the Jammu and Kashmir State. Addressing gathering at Gol Gujral camp, Suram said three years rule of PDP led by Mufti Mohammed Sayeed had infused a sense of security among the people in the state as after a long time it appeared that the democratic institutions got strengthened in J&K. He said in last six years of NC-Congress rule the basic institutions of democracy including panchayats and municipal council importance was undermined and no elections were held to municipalities, municipal corporations and TACs. "This shows that both NC and Congress don't believe in transformation of power to people doorsteps and strengthening the basic institutions of democracy," he alleged and adding people have been suffering due to wrong policies of the government as there is no proper education, healthcare facility, electricity and water crisis. He hit out at BJP saying that their leaders are bent upon seeking votes in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Truth is that BJP leaders are failed to satisfy people as they a looted people by befooling them and now begging votes in the name of Modi. |
