Sajad arranged gathering for Modi's rally: PC supporters

Srinagar, Dec 8: Peoples Conference activists who today attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in S K Stadium of Srinagar revealed that party chief Sajad Lone directed them to attend the rally and arranged 220 vehicles for them.
A retired police officer and an ardent supporter of Sajad Lone's Peoples Conference who participated in Modi's rally in Srinagar while talking to a local news gathering agency revealed that Sajad Lone arranged 220 vehicles for his supporters to attend Modi's rally in Srinagar. "Hundreds of PC supporters are present here. All the arrangements to ferry us to and fro have been made by Sajad Lone. He arranged 220 vehicles for us to show our presence here," Gulzar Ahmed a resident of Natnusa Handwara told inside the Cricket Stadium soon after the culmination of the rally. Another supporter, Nazir Gojri from Chogul Handwara said that he is not a BJP supporter but arrived here on the directions of his party leader Sajad Lone whose workers informed us about the event and arranged vehicles for us. "I was impressed the way Modi addressed people. He seems sincere and wants over all development for Kashmir," he said. Besides the activist who attended the rally, Chief Minister and working president of National Conference on twitter claimed that Peoples conference workers participated in the BJP rally. "So Sajad Lone is sending about 80 vehicles of supporters from Kupwara to help is "big brother" make up the numbers." Omar Abdullah wrote on Twitter. He also claimed that few leaders backed by Congress also arranged gathering for Narendra Modi. However, People's Conference Chairman Sajad Lone has denounced the reports that his party had arranged any vehicle for the Prime Ministers rally. He told that some elements are hell-bent to tarnish his image. "There may be some mischievous elements present in the rally that might have used my name to defame me," he said.
