Successive state governments responsible for unemployment: BJP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 10: Continuing its attack on political rivals, the BJP party today held successive PDP, NC and Congress governments in Jammu and Kashmir totally responsible for increase in unemployment rate. In his statement, the BJP State Spokesperson Dr Suresh Ajay Magotra held previous successive coalition regimes of PDP, NC and Congress in Jammu and Kashmir totally responsible for increase in unemployment rate. Magotra stated that Farooq Abdullah banned the government jobs during his tenure from 1996-2002, when the state was passing through an era of militancy and earlier was under President rule for over a decade. "Since 2002 onwards, Mufti led government with full support of Congress, implemented rehabilitation policy for militants by awarding three lakh rupees in cash along with jobs to the surrendered militants but did nothing for the educated unemployed youth of the state, he said. Omar Abdullah, after Mufti and Azad regime, roared for one job to each family during 2008 elections and grabbed the power with this slogan but later played with the future of the youth by not even creating any job opportunities. Appealing the people of the state to come forward and change this anti youth environment of the state created by PDP, NC and Congress and cast their vote to BJP. Let BJP come up with full majority to form government on its own in the state and will definitely address the problems of the youth of the state under the new vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi for youth of Jammu and Kashmir, he added. |
