JAMMU, Dec 10 : Stating that people had enough dose of mis-governance in the state for last six years, Vikram Malhotra, general secretary Pradesh Congress and contesting candidate from Jammu east today said that people have realized that they have to vote for someone who can address to their needs and strive to fulfill the expectations they have from the government. The basic issues people face and needs attention of an MLA or their leader include development, employment opportunities, infrastructure and other basic requirements like adequate water and power supply, he added. Malhotra said that those banking upon leadership sitting at the capital at the helm of affairs of the country know that they do not have even a single person here who can be described as a popular leader among the masses. Malhotra who was addressing the people of Jammu east during his campaign in the localities of Peer Mitha, Prem Nagar, Christian Colony and Moti Bazar assured them that, if elected, he will strive for their rights and address to their day-to-day problems. |
