Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 14 : Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee President Saif-ud-Din Soz today said that Congress government in the centre as well as state has always worked for bringing equality among all the castes and communities of the country especially in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing an election rally, he further said that Congress is known for its commitment towards providing equality among all sections of the society for which it will continue its fight whether it will be in power or opposition.
Soz appealed the voters to vote for Congress in the state assembly elections for the all round development of the state.
Reiterating his call to remain vigilant against parties and leaders who were busy in selling dreams that could never be realized, Congress candidate from Jammu east Assembly segment, Vikram Malhotra has appealed the electorate to vote in his favour in order to ensure that the development process initiated by him in the constituency continues to see a forward trend.
The Congress candidate today visited Super Bazar, Raghunath Pura, Science College, Chowk Chabutra, Kali Janni and some other areas of the constituency and interacted with masses.
On this occasion Vikram Malhotra said that the sitting MLA from Jammu East and the BJP in the centre have ignored the problems of the people of this area related to power, water and roads. The people of the area have suffered huge losses in the recent floods but the state government did not provide them with the adequate compensation.
Vikram also lashed out at BJP saying that its leaders are seeking votes in the name of Modi while they do not have any progress report to show to the voters.
He said voting Congress is the empowerment of common man as the party is committed to overall development of the State and equitable distribution of funds to all three regions, creating employment avenues, boosting tourism, industry and trade.
