Shingari also met a delegation of daily wagers and assured them that he will raise their issues in the legislative assembly. "Jammu west contest has turned into a struggle of Jammu west with outside leaders and film stars, and in this contest people of Jammu west constituency will show the strength of their brotherhood. Self pride of Jammu is not something which can be hijacked by pumping expensive advertisements and film stars" he said.
