jammu, Dec 14: Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) contesting candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency Amrik Singh Reen today called upon the voters to vote for the PDP in the constituency to end the injustice meted to the people of the constituency under the incumbent MLA. He said while addressing the meetings at Jeevan Nagar, Sainik Colony, Kunjwani Tallab, Digiana, Bathindi, Jawahar Nagar, Bhore Camp and Chatha Pind that the constituency is facing utter neglect under the current MLA who is focused more on favouritism rather than providing equitable justice to the people of this constituency. Blaming Congress MLA for overlooking the constituency, Reen made a fervent appeal to the voters to punish the incumbent MLA who even failed to provide basic amenities to the people like water, power supply and roads in the city area. He took a dig at the Congress MLA for his failure to find a solution of the usual traffic congestion in the city suggesting construction of multi-story parking, sub-ways for the same. Hitting out at local MLA for ignoring of the city areas, Reen said that the Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment has vast tourism potential whereas the area has number of pilgrim destination where lot can be done to attract tourists as well as pilgrims from all across the country but the incumbent MLA who remained minister in the coalition government never worked on these avenues. Seeking support of every section of the society, Reen promised to establish a new system of justice and equality in the Gandhi Nagar constituency. |
