Jammu, Jan 28: Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) and Government employees, Contractual Teachers labourers of all the Departments held protest for delaying to redressal pending demands. Departments including Agriculture, Soil Conservation, Wildlife, PHE, JDA, Floriculture and ICD Workers helpers assembled outside press club and shouting slogans in favour of their demands. Addressing the gathering, State president of JKNTUF Mohammed Gafoor Dar condemned the delaying policies of the previous as well as present government regarding settlement of the below noted genuine demands which has already been agreed by the State Govt. on 15-09-2011 and 08-07-2012 . "But it is very unfortunate that despite written agreements the government has miserably filled to fulfill these agreements despite repeated requests," he alleged. He further said that in this situation the working class of the state cannot act as silent spectators. "JKNTUF will wait for further two months and if the demands are not settled by March 31, 2015, we will again come on streets and will hold-mass Casual leave rally on April 9, 2015 in Jammu," he added. Among other who were presented on the occasion including Rajinder Kumar, Sardar Vikramjit Singh, Raj Singh, Piran Ditta, Molbi Muneer Ahmed, Barkat, Satpal Singh, Mohammad, Yusuf, Gulab Mohammad, Mustaq Ahmed Lone, Tariq Mir, Shokat Ahmed, Mohammad Ameen, Ratna Devi, Vijay Kumari, Sehnaz Akhter, Abdul Hamid and others. |
