| NSF to stage protest against removal of HoD Dogri | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: To register protest against the removal of HOD Dogri and suspension of three executive members JURSEA by the acting Vice Chancellor of Jammu University, the National Secular Forum (NSF) has decided to stage protest outside Raj Bhawan on Wednesday to register their resentment against the decision.
Addressing the Press-Conference here today, senior vice president NSF Surjit Choudhary said, "Acting Vice Chancellor Prof R D Sharma is ill-advised by his coterie and it seems he is dancing like a puppet without realizing the gravity of the matter."
He informed that NSF will stage dharna in front of the Raj Bhawan to express resentment against the move of Acting VC and also to seek intervention of Governor, who happens to be the Chancellor of the University.
Highlighting demands, he said that NSF demands reinstating of Prof Kesar as HoD of Dogri besides revoking suspension of JURSEA office bearers.
Among others present in the press-conference included Amit Sanotra, Narinder Singh and Reshikesh Rana. |
