CJM directs SHO Kishtwar to register FIR after medical report confirms pregnancy

Kishtwar, June 20: In a shocking and shameful act, a 17 year old minor girl was allegedly raped by her uncle, father of three children and cousin brother, father of one child and teacher by profession in Kuntwara area of Kishtwar District as a result of which the victim minor girl has develop pregnancy and was admitted in District Hospital Kishtwar by the parents.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the father of the minor victim girl, 10th class pass out in last week result declared by the JKBOSE moved an application before Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar seeking directions from the court for registration of an FIR against 32 year old Indresh Kumar son Puran Chand (Paternal brother of victim's father) and 28 year old Munshi Ram son of Swami Raj (Real 1st cousin of victim) both resident of Kuntwara, Tehsil Drabshala and District Kishtwar for committing rape of his minor daughter.
The father of the victim in his complaint moved before CJM Kishtwar through his counsel Advocate Inder Jeet Charak stated that the applicant is laborer by profession and often remained engaged outside in connection with his livelihood, while his wife, three sons and one minor daughter agaed 17 years at present remained at home. He further in his complaint stated that on 18-06-2015 his minor daughter complained about pain in her stomach, upon which he took her to District Hospital Kishtwar where after medical checkup, the doctors informed him that his minor daughter is pregnant, added that on inquiry his minor daughter disclosed that accused Indresh Kumar and Munshi Ram have raped her and have threaten her to eliminate her in case if she disclosed the same to anybody.
After hearing the counsel of the victim and scrutiny of the medical record, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar Balbir L Jaswal observed that keeping in consideration the submission made by the learned counsel Indeer Jeet Charak that the minor girl of age 17 years has been ravished by the close relatives is a serious matter and needs through investigation by registering FIR and directed SHO Police Station Kishtwar under section 156 Cr.Pc to register an FIR against Indresh Kumar and Munshi Ram and investigate the matter under law.
On the direction of CJM Kishtwar, SHO Kishtwar register an FIR against the accused under relevant sections of law and started hunt to arrest the accuse.
While talking to "Early Times" the victim narrates the shameful act committed upon her by her close relatives and revealed the names of both the accused. Meanwhile the doctors at District Hospital Kishtwar confirmed to "Early Times" that victim carries 30 week old pregnancy, added that however the exert age of the victim could be ascertained only after proper medical text.
