Delegation calls on DIG 6/20/2015 11:36:16 PM Sunderbani, June 20 : After meeting Chief Minister, Mufti Mohd Sayeed in Srinagar , a delegation of Basist Sabha today met DIG of Rajouri Poonch Range Ashok Kumar Atri and demanded action against attacker, who attacked Naib Sarpanch Bakher (Sunderbani). The DIG on spot issued directions to SHO Sunderbani to arrest the accused persons who attacked the Naib Sarpanch. The delegation under the leadership of District President of Basist Sabha Rajouri, Raj Kumar along with other members had yesterday met CM and today met the DIG. In their complaint, the delegation appraised the DIG that on June 10, 2014 Naib Sarpanch Bakher was attacked when he was going to his sister's house in village Dheri. He attacked and looted by some goons and also stole golden chain, Rs 81 thousand and one Samsung mobile and left him in pool of blood, latter he was hospitalized. They alleged that Station House Officer (SHO) Sunderbani, instead of taking action against the culprits shielding them.
