JIAR adopts village for health care through Yoga

Jammu, June 20: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Nardni, Raipur Bantalab Road, Jammu has adopted the adjoining villages of the institution i.e. Bajwan, Nardni, Thather, Kot Bhalwal etc. for promotion of yoga for health care and stress free life. According to press release, it has been decided in a meeting of the management of institution. The each adopted house hold will be taught Pranayam, Yog Asanas for maintenance of their health through Ayurvedic principles of Swasthvritta by adopting Dincharya, Ritucharya etc. Besides this public will also be inspired to grow medicinal plants like Amla, Neem, Tulsi, Giloy etc. to Yoga Asanas and other activities. Dr. Roop Lal Sharma chairman jiar also lauded the great efforts of Dr. Kabir Dar, Director General, AYUSH for promotion of AYUSH system of medicine and yoga in J&K specially in Kashmir valley under the adventurous guidance of Ch. Lal Singh Health Minister.
