Udhampur, June 20: Heavy losses reportedly have been incurred due flash floods strike in Latti of Udhampur district following heavy rains here today.
Reports said the flash floods triggered after heavy rains in upper reaches washed away one locale Atta Chuckie (water mill) and three small bridges, damaged about 200 kanals land of Maize crop besides damaging inter linking roads,
"The flash floods hit the area at late last night at around 10.00pm in Latti of district Udhampur, reports said, adding, "three small Foot bridges namely Pundal, Lari and Piddi areas, water mills owned by Mushtak Ahmad Mir were damaged in flash floods trigged in local rivulets in Panchayat Latti. |
