Police shields culprit, harass victim
6/20/2015 11:44:04 PM
Early Times Report
katra, June 20: Yet in another instance of Police's dictatorship, Sunderbani Police in an attempt to hush-up the case, is allegedly harassing the victim. Sources said that Tarlok Singh a driver misbehaved with a woman Chanchlo Devi resident of village Lyal, Sunderbani. When the victim approached to police, police instead of taking action against accused driver, pressurized the victim and those who were favoring seeking action against driver. Dismayed over police's inaction, the residents of the area have submitted a complaint to SDPO Noushera seeking against police and the accused driver.
It pertinent to mention here that DGP, K Rajendra has repeatedly asked police men to respect public. It seems that the SHOs and Munshi of police stations have no respect even for DGP.
