Jammu, June 25: The District Development Manager, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Rajouri/Poonch organised an awareness programme on Financial Inclusion at village Dharamsal, block Kalakote, District Rajouri. According to press release, the awareness programme was attended by Rajinder Kumar, District Manager, The Jammu Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., Rajouri, Satish Kumar, Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Kalakote, Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant, The Jammu Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., Kalakote, Subash Chander, Secretary, Cooperative Society, Dharamsal, Pawan Kumar, President, Cooperative Society, Dharamsal and farmers from the village Dharamsal. District Development Manager,NABARD, Rajouri explained the participants the objective of organising an awareness programme on financial Inclusion. He highlighted the Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna (PMJJBY), Pradan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna (PMSBY) and Atal pension scheme (APS).
He also explained all the three schemes in detailed and motivated the participants to spread the message among the public in their areas and get the benefits of these schemes.
He motivated the farmers to take dairy farming activity alongwith agriculture activities. This activity will supplement the income of the farmers. The credit facilities are also availabe from banks for the activity. |
