Board meetings rendered meaningless by govt: NC 6/25/2015 11:29:56 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 25: Expressing their concerns after the Board meetings of District Poonch and District Rajouri held at District Rajouri yesterday, the National Conference leaders from the twin border districts today said that that Government has totally failed on all fronts in the state and also has jeopardized the system of Board meetings. In a press conference at Sher -e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari State Vice President , Ex- MLA and former Minister accompanied with Rachpal Singh EX-MLA , Ex-Vice Chairman Kissan advisory Board and Ajaz Jan Ex-MLA today expressed their views over the recently concluded Board meetings of District Poonch and District Rajouri which was held unusually at District Rajouri yesterday. Speaking on this occasion, Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari said that Government has totally failed on all fronts in the state and is jeopardise system of Board meetings. "This concept was conceived by Sher -e-Kashmir Late Sheikh Mohd Abdullah during his Chief Ministership to decentralize the powers to the District level and down to block level and Panchayats, he said , adding, "it seems that North and South Pole coalition government is determined to destabilize the single line administration system while holding meeting of two districts at one place. "This is totally eye wash, he asserted. Nothing has come out of these meetings, he said. Thakur Rachpal Singh Former MLA charged the coalition government by saying that these Boards meeting are big fraud with the people of the district Poonch and District Rajouri. Ajaz Jan former MLA ,Poonch leveled serious charges against the present coalition government and said that 24,000 bags of cement has been looted by the PDP leaders in District Poonch in two months while flood affected still are waiting for the rehabilitated programme and the present government has totally failed to address their issues. Referring to the Board meeting held on yesterday, Jan said that the coalition is befooling the people by announcing some amount for various schemes which have been started by the National Conference Government regime but no funds are being provided for these.
