VIJAYPUR, June 25: A team of Congress workers led by their leader Arun Sharma toured Kandi villages of Vijaypur Assembly Constituency and held series of public meetings at Shah Talab, Meen, Smailpur, Data Talab, Bari, Suchani, Barjani, Gurha Slathia, Mandies and Thalori Gujaran. While addressing the public meetings, senior Congress leader Arun Sharma highlighted policies and programmes of the Congress party for the welfare of common masses particularly deprived section of the society. He appealed to the people only Congress can provide stable government in the state as well as centre. Sharma said that the present PDP-BJP regime is a unit of communal forces due to which the incidents of terrorism has increased manifold in the state during the last three months. He further said that the development works have come to a standstill adding that due to the vague policies and programmes, the unemployment among educated youth is on the rise. On the occasion, people also highlighted numbers of problems including scarcity of drinking water as well as electricity, connectivity of roads, paths and irrigation. |
