| Programme on Dairy Farming organized | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Feb 8: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi in coordination with the civil administration conducted a lecture on Dairy Farming for the youth of Reasi district.
The aim of the lecture was to promote skill development through various programmes in the region. The organisers of the event emphasised on `Dairy Farming' as a viable means of promotion of small scale industry for the unemployed youth. The lecture focused on the basic requirements, expertise and facilities needed for Dairy Farming apart from the benefits accruing from such small scale industries.
The youth were given information and guidance about various schemes by the central and state government on loans and assistance from NABARD to set up such facilities in a smooth manner. The Army guided the youth to avail benefits through various cadres and skill development programmes being conducted from to time under Sadbhavna activities. |
