Sunderbani, Feb 8: Alleging the local BJP MLA for treating the party workers step motherly especially for constitution of district body, the agitating local party cadre today walked out of the party meeting to register their protest.
However the district body was announced within ruckus created by the protesting workers who alleged of being doled out step motherly treatment and deliberate neglect by the party leaders. Earlier a large number of party workers assembled here today at Sunderbani in which the party worers were going to elect new district body of party. The things took ugly turn when BJP District President Nowshera Capt Som Dutt Sharma in consultation with local MLA and senior party leaders constituted the district body. Alleging of ignoring of some staunch and committed party cadre, the agitated party members said described the new body as only pick and choose policy to appease some selected individuals.
Observing that their voice was not heard, the protesting BJP workers walked out of the meeting while accusing District president and MLA for ignoring majority of senior cadre while nominating new BJP district body.
Ajay Gupta District ex vice president, Deepak Shastri, Tilak Raina (Pappu), Sanjay Gupta, Rocky Gupta, Rohit Gupta and Vicky Mahotra said that they worked for the warfare of party for many last years. "They wouldn't tolerate that party's staunch cadre including them were ignored, they said while alleging that the MLA has limited to only a particular locality and his attempts are promoting resentment instead of unity within the cadre.
Meanwhile the newly nominated district body members included Narinder Sharma (Mangu), Dr Dev Raj, Anu Bhasin, Lecture Om Prakash, Master Bal krishan, Ajay Gupta, Raj kumar as District Vice Presidents. Mool Raj and Adarsh Bharti as district General Secretaries. Tirath Ram, Malti sharma, Anita and Abdul haq, Gulab Nabi, Rakesh Sharma, Gurmeet Kour, Naresh Singh as District Secretaries, Kasturi lal as District Cashier, Master Pritam Singh as media incharge, Naresh chadha as Publicity Incharge,
While Tilak Raj Sudan has been nominated as office secretary, Sham Mehra as District Youth President, Babbu Gumbal as District Woman Cell President, Ex sarpanch Mohan Lal as president District Kissan Cell. |
