Jammu, Apr 22: The members of Executive body and Governing Body of Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society (MMJHS) have alleged that the scheduled visit of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to Mubarak Mandi complex, will merely be a show-off. The members said that being a Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is Chairman of Governing body and as the portfolio of Tourism Ministry is also with her, so she is also Chairman of Executive Committee. "It is very Strange on part of Chief Minister secretariat that not a single member of either Executive body or governing body has been invited for discussion with the Chief Minister for scheduled visit", a member said. The member further said that earlier former Chief Minister Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had called a meeting of MMJHS in the month of June 2015, after which no such meeting was held so far. "It is amply clear that PDP-BJP led government is not serious for the development of Mubarak Mandi complex and not inviting the members signals towards this fact", he said. Pertinently, Executive Committee has six non official members while Governing body has 17-18 non official members out of which none has got any invitation for the scheduled meeting. An official said that the scheduled visit was planned by the Chief Minister Secretariat and only the concerned MLA was invited in the meeting with deputy comissionerd. |
