JAMMU, Apr 22: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, the Janipur police today arrested a drug paddler besides recovering a huge haul of intoxicant capsules numbering to 2068 from his possession during a naka checking.
"The accused has been identified as Parshotam Singh @ Kala Changa S/o Rattan Singh R/o Bantalab, police said
According to police reports, Police team from P/S Janipur during a naka checking at Mandir Morh stopped the said accused for Police check. "On his personal frisking and search of his belongings, police party recovered 2068 intoxicative capsules from his possession, police reports said.
Meanwhile a case against the said accused drug paddler stands registered under relevant section of Law and further investigation is in progress. |
