Kishtwar, Apr 24: Red Ribbon club of GDC Chatroo today organised a symposium on HIV/AIDS awareness, in collaboration with J&K state AIDS prevention and control society, department of health and medical education. Dr. Athar Hussain Nodal officer of the college was the chief guest on the occasion, who spoke on the topic in detail. The program started with the key note address by Prof. Rajiv Katoch, who also highlighted the importance of organising such programs in the college. 10 students participated in this symposium , Raiz Ahmad Kateria student of semester 2nd, Altaf Hussain semester 2nd, & Aliya Iqbal semester 1 got 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes respectively. Dr. Nasir Rashid also shared his views on the occasion. All the faculty members and students were present on the occasion. The programme was anchored by Muzaffer Hussain and vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Shaboo Nath. At the end prize and certificates were distributed among participants.
