| Despite Court direction, Mobile tower installation on residential houses continues | | |  Kathua, Apr24: Despite strict direction of Court of Sub-judge Kathua to maintain status quo, the work on installation of Mobile tower is still continuing in village Nanal, district Kathua.
Large number villagers opposed the installation arguing that radiations from the tower can affect the health of people living in the village.
It is pertinent to mention here that Reliance Communication Company tried to install mobile tower in village Nanal, Kathua and Kushal Kumar S/o Charan Dass R/o Nonal Tehsil & District Kathua provided land for the tower but villagers strictly condemned the installation and approached Session Court Kathua on 28th of March 2016.
Sub Judge Kathua ordered for status quo and directed to stop the installation work which is still continuing in violation of Court's direction.
The villagers today staged protest demonstration and demanded strict action against the Communication Company. They demanded to stop the installation work while the case is pending with session Court Kathua.
Nagar Mal, Kaka Ram, Raj Kumari, Rita Devi, Neelam Devi, Surjeet Kumar , Rakesh Kumar and many others raised voice against installation of tower after violating Court's direction. |
