Jammu, Apr 24: The 125th birthday of Dr. B .R. Ambedkar was celebrated by Bhartiya Dalit Sahitya Academy at its headquarters Roop Nagar.
According to press release, a function was organized under the President ship of Sudesh Kumari President of the Academy, while Bharat Bushan Ex. MLA was the chief guest on the occasion/
Other dignitaries include S S Sarngal (Judge), Rattan Lal Jangral, S.D Swantra (Retd.) Principal CCF, Charan Dass Angral Vice President B.D.S.A, Shiv Dass Digra, R. K Kalsotra President SC/ST/OBC confederation, H.R.Fonsa, Subha Ram, (Retd) H&P, Des Raj Bhagat (Retd) Joint Director, Som Nath Dogra, C.L Bonal and Chaman Lal Kanathia.
The speaker spoke on the life of Dr. B.R Ambedkar and founder President of Bhartiya Dalit Sahitya Academy, Babu Parmanand ji former Governor of Haryana whose 8th Death Anniversary also fall on today. |
