| TFJ felicitates Secy Tourism | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 24: Tourism Federation of Jammu, the apex body of Tourism Service Providers of Jammu Province today organized function in which they felicitated Farooq A Shah, Secretary Tourism Jammu and Kashmir here at conference Hall of Jammu Chamber of Commerce.
Rakesh Gupta, President Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Yudhvir Sethi Vice President BJP were guests of honor in the function.
Rajesh Gupta, Chairman of the Federation appreciated the decision of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to appoint Farooq A Shah as Secretary Tourism and Priya Sethi as MoS Tourism and other departments as both of them are having a great connect with tourism fraternity of J&K and understand the subject very well.
They further said that Farooq A Shah vast experience in tourism field has started giving results with strong inflow of tourists to Kashmir valley and additions in arrivals at Jammu too.
Rajesh Gupta stressed on the need of developing skilled human resource for maintaining international standards in tourism related services in J&K and explained federation's efforts to upgrade skills of existing manpower. |
