Jammu, Apr 24: A general body meeting of Trust Asthapan Vicharnagh (Srinagar) was held here today under the president ship of DK Dhar and various issues regarding the shrine were threadbare discussed.
The members expressed concern over dilapidated condition of the shrine situated at Vicharnagh (Srinagar) and unanimously resolved that efforts will be made to further renovate the shrine.
The members also threw light on the "shrinking space" of "Shamshan Bhoomi" which is situated in Soura New Colony. They said authorities have failed to take care of Hindu Shrine and their allied land as the grabbers were keeping an eye on such pieces of land. The members further resolved to fight tooth and nail to protect the shrine and its land.
Those who attended the meeting included AK Kakroo, BL Koul, BL Dhar, KK Dhar, Pran Ji, Sunil Dhar, NM Gadroo, Rakesh Kher, Sujit Mattoo, Bitu Ji and others. |
