Surankote, May 15: Youth National Conference here has raised strong concern over the deteriorating condition in the working of municipal committee Surankote in Poonch district and has also demanded that local youth of the area be provided employment in Parnai water project. These issues were raised during a Youth NC meeting held at Surankote in the presence of Provincial President Youth National Conference Jammu, Ajaz Jan. Local leaders of YNC Surankote showed anger against Municipal Department Surankote for the increasing in-sanitation in the area of ITI College Surankote which may lead to health hazards and there is every apprehension of spreading epidemic in case immediate steps are not taken to clean the area. "The insanitation of ITI campus and city area can get aggravated in the scorching heat and coming monsoon", they said. YNC leaders also appealed Deputy Commissioner Poonch to probe the whole matter of Parnai project that has become a big issue in Surankote. "Provide employment to local youth in Parnai water project and ensure timely dispersal of salaries", YNC leader appealed. They also raised concern to the power crisis in the area and dilapidated condition of road from Surankote to Bufliyaz via Draba which should be repaired immediately to ensure smooth movement of Mughal Road traffic also. Later Provincial YNC President Ajaz Jan assured the local leaders of YNC from Surankote that all the matters will be brought in the notice of officers of district administration so that issues are solved timely. Those who were present include YNC Provincial Joint Secretary Tahir Mirza, YNC Block President Draba Shiraz Malik, Mukhtar Zargar, Haroon Khan, YNC Secretary Block Surankote Bukhtair Kazmi, Assir Manhas, Ahmed Raza, Asif Khan, Maroof Ahmed, Mumtaz Ahmed, Tahir Shah, Waseem Ahmed, Haleem Khan, Wajahat Shah and Lal Khan.
