| Dachhan residents demand repair of Swerbati wooden bridge | | |

Kishtwar, May 15: Residents of Dachhan today demanded from government to immediate repair of wooden bridge at Swerbati which connects Dachhan area with Kishtwar District Headquarter through a bridle path as the area lacks road connectivity. The wooden bridge passes over mighty river Chenab.
They further said that the condition of the bridle path connecting Dachhan and Marwah areas of Kishtwar is in poor condition and people travelling by foot on this bridle path are facing lot of inconvenience due to worst condition of the path, particularly from village Swerbati to Tunder.
Previous year MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma direct R&B department early repair of the bridle path as well as bridge but the department fails to address the issue.
They urged higher authority of department concern to take immediate step for repairing of bridge and path road of the area. |
