Early Times Report RAMBAN, June 26: A seminar by the Sehasahstra Seema Bal (SSB),42 Battalion marked the International Day Against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking at Batote today. In the seminar besides five girls and two teachers, S.Joginder Singh and Mohinder Goswami from the Government Higher Secondary School, Batote, 4 soldiers of the SSB and the Executive Magistrate 1st Class, Naib-Tehsildar, Batote, Saifullah Shah spoke on the menace and the ill-effects of drugs. Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant ,SSB,42 Battalion, Rajesh Ticku while dwelling on the need of the vigourous anti drug campaign and reasons of drug abuse said that a person gets prey to drug addiction if he is of weak mentality or if he starts it as a sport or a trial. Naib Tehsildar, Saifullah Shah thanked Commandant, Ticku on the behalf of the people of Batote and the Tehsil administration for his endeavour for this social cause. |
