Jammu, June 26: KrishiVigyan Kendra Jammu, R.S. Pura, SKUAST-J organized awareness cum traning programme on use of Potash fertilizer in Paddy crop at village Riapur Sajda of R S Pura Block of Jammu district. Training programmewas attended by large no of farmers of the village. During the programme Dr Rakesh Sharma Sr Scientist Agricultural Extension, KVK R S Pura briefed the farmers about the importance of judicious and balance doses of fertilizer for cultivation of healthy paddy crop in the area. He further stressed upon the use of potash fertilizer for attaining higher basmati yield. Dr Punit Choudhary Scientist Agroforestry, KVK R S Pura informed the farmers about the use of quality and true to type seed of Basmati 370 for maintaining the geographical identity of the basmati of R S Pura. |
