ReT Forum demands stop the harassment of RETS, Release of SSA Salary

Jammu, June 26: A monthly meeting of All J&K RET Teachers Forum on Sunday held at Exhibition Ground Jammu under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma. The meeting was attended by the District Presidents and state executive body members of the Forum. While speaking on the occasion Mr Vinod Sharma highlighted the genuine issues of ReT cadre
He said that the RET teachers are being harassed by the department on the name of screening test whereas still it is not cleared by the department that which boards or universities are fake and which are genuine. He further appealed the govt. not to harass the teachers who have acquired their degrees from UGC recogonised universities.
He said that RET Teachers under SSA are without salary for last 4 months and have been facing a lot of problems to meet out the daily needs of their family members including clothing for their children and medicines for their ailing parents. He said that SSA salary issue is a chronic problem and needs a permanent solution for the welfare of thousands of ReTs of the state.
He also demanded the early regularization of RET teachers who have obtained their degrees from UGC recognised universities and whose files are Lying in the office of Director School Education jammu for last six months. At the end of the meeting the executive members of the forum appealed the chief minister mehbooba mufti to personally intervene to resolve the issues of RETs and stop the harassment of RET teachers otherwise the forum will left with no other option than holding strong protests throughout the state by locking their schools .
Others who also spoke on the occasion included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Rajesh Jamwal, Sham Sharm, Rajender Kumar, Lekh Raj Parihar, Jasbir Singh, Ravinder Singh, Navjot Singh, Manzoor Malik, Hans Raj Vinod Shastri, Manohar Chowdhary, Surinder Sharma, Anil Dev Singh, Suresh, Dinesh Singh, Rajinder Singh, Raj Mohan Singh,and others.
