HAF launches poster of 240 birds species 9/14/2016 9:59:19 PM Early Times Report jammu, Sept 14: Poster of 240 birds species of Jammu province was launched today by Himalayan Avians Foundation in collaboration with J&K Wildlife Protection Department at Kala Kendra. All the pictures have been captured by Wildlife photographer and envorunmentalist Guldev Raj in an odd circumstance from 2005 to Aug 2016 including Long-tail Duck which is rare record for India as well as for Jammu and Kashmir. This bird was spotted recently at Gharana. Speaking on the occasion, Ch Lal Singh appreciated the work of Guldev Raj who has been working on birds and counting the birds of state through his photography. He said that this is wonderful job done for the state and young generation will learn much from this work assuring full support. Guldev Raj said that till date 240 birds species have been caught in camera mission which will be continued.
