Jammu, Sept 14: A superintendent of Police (SP), who is at present posted in Jammu district, has been dancing to the tune of a cabinet minister to seek his favour for posting as SP in Kathua district.
Police sources claimed that the SP, who desired to be posted as SP, Kathua, could nowadays be seen sitting at the minister's official residence for hours together.
"The minister has assured him that he will be posted as SP, Kathua, as and when the government orders transfers of middle rung police officers," sources said.
"He never misses a single chance to wish him good morning and good evening after paying visit to the official residence of the minister," said sources.
"Whenever the minister is present at his official residence, the SP rushes to meet him along with gifts. He also does not mind doing his personal works," the sources added.
"The SP also enjoys the blessings of some other politicians who had managed his transfer to Jammu a few months ago," sources said. |
