Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 14: The crime branch of police has registered a case against alleged farudsters who had prepared a fake rent deed to favour themselves.
A written complaint was lodged by one Wali Mohammad, son of Shallan of Kot-Bhalwal, Jammu alleging therein that land falling under khasra No 2056 at Bhalwal was of disputed nature and a case titled Fatima Bibi v/s Custodian Evacuee Property, Jammu, was pending.
However, Sunil Dutt, son of Sukh Chain of Pakhian, Vikaz Ahmad Malik, son of Bashir Ahmad of Bye-Pass Narwal, Mushtaq Hussain Malik, Custodian, Jammu, the near relative of Vikaz, and Bikram Chargotra, son of Sukh Chain of Pakhian, in connivance with each other executed a fake rent deed in favour of accused Vikaz, who then took the possession of land and established an industrial unit under the name and style M/s Brick Solution, he alleged.
It was alleged that Sunil Dutt had no right or authority over the said land but by misrepresenting the facts and preparing the fake documents, he got the rent deed registered in respect of one kanal of land showing himself as the absolute owner in connivance with the custodian evacuee property, Jammu.
The preliminary CB probe found that Sunil Dutt, Vikaz and Bikram, in connivance with each other, had allegedly committed the fraud with the active connivance of custodian evacuee property, Jammu who being the close relative of Vikaz, in sheer abuse of his official position, facilitated the illegal possession of the land through the fake rent deed in order to cause wrongful gains to themselves and wrongful loss to the complainant. It was also found that Bikram, being a government servant, also allegedly committed the criminal misconduct by indulging in the private trade in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy hatched with the other accused.
The accused have been booked by CB under sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 471 and 120-B of RPC read with section 5(2) of P C Act.
