Jammu, Sept 14: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha launched an awareness campaign through the region against the menace of drug consumption.
According to press release, as part of awareness activity, Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha today organized a camp at Village Chanunta and educated the people especially youth. A large number of members of Brahman Community attended the camp wherein they were briefed about the problems and issues facing the community.
The organizers stressed the need to remain united and simply various religious and other cultural complexities.
Speaking on the occasion, President of the Sabha Ved Parkash Sharma continued the youths to follow age old Dharma and not to fall prey to drug problems which has engulfed the community.
Those who were present on the occasion included Shivram Sharma, Jagannath Sharma, Advocate P.C. Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Rattan Chand Sharma, Ganesh Dutt Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Kartar Chand and others. |
