Ganesh Mahautsav commences in Ramban 9/14/2016 11:22:03 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Sept 14: The two daylong celebration of Ganesh Mahautsav commenced with the Ganesh satapna at Maitra Ramban, today. A function has been organised by Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) led by president Bhim Singh. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Randeep Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary, vice president VHP Ashish Sharma, Gopal Krishan Raina were present over the function. The function was started Samohik Aarti and lighting of 11 Deepaks by the chief guest and devotees followed by with the Ganesh Puja by the Pandit Vijay Kumar and Bhajan Sandhya. The festival will continue upto Ganesh Chaturdashi falling on September 15.
