| JKNPP finds conspiracy behind construction of fourth bridge on river Tawi | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 14: JKNPP has pointed towards a conspiracy behind construction of the fourth bridge on river Tawi and failure of traffic system failure on the part of Govt. in providing roads in good condition. In a press conference held today, Neeraj Gupta Zonal President said that at the time of construction of fourth bridge the M.L.A. of Jammu west was from BJP, but even then the alignment of the bridge was diverted to give benefit to the Minister of the ruling Party. Whenever a fly over is constructed, to reduce the burden of traffic it is always connected with the national highway, but the reasons better known to then sitting M.L.A. the fly-over is connected to the roads of Bhagwati Nagar instead of Akhnoor Roads(National Highway) due to which the purpose of construction of fly-over is defeated. Moreover conspiracy did not stop here the compromise was also made in its quality and security norms as a result of which the fly over was badly damaged in a short span of its construction. He said that BJP is betraying the Jammu People and has not fulfilled even a single promise. We are not able to see even a single sign of development.
In the name of development we can see worse condition of roads, unemployment, tourism industry totally spoiled, business of Jammu is also suffering an irreparable loss in crores.
During election and today also tourism minister of J&K Mrs. Priya Sethi claiming that she will bring the spots of Jammu on the tourists map for her it is our suggestion that she should at least help M.L.A. West Sat Sharma in construction of roads because tourists cannot reach the tourists spots by air.
To visit local tourist spots they would have to move through roads in the whole city has been thrown into pits of damaged roads in the name of development. No tourist spot has been improved or developed. The project of lake has gone into cold storage.
There is no sign of inauguration of cable car and much awaited AIMS. The situation in Kashmir is also prevailing beyond their control. Delegation is in itself a prima facie evidence that the present BJP -PDP Government is incompetent to tackle the problem of maintaining Law and order situation and huge loss of revenue, Education Loss, Public Property Loss, Tourism industry Loss. He also said that by inviting the All Party Delegation the state government has accepted they are incompetent to solve the Kashmir issue, but they are not ready to resign from their posts on moral grounds.
