Kathua, Sept 19: Pensioners Welfare Association held meeting here today under the chairmanship of its District General Secretary, Dilsher Singh.
According to press release, during the meeting, various issues regarding pensioners holders were discussed.
In the meeting, President of the organization, Amar Nath Dogra urged to Prime Mininster, Narender Modi to pass appropriate orders to the Chief Mininster of the State for the implementation seventh pay commission's recommendation at the earliest. "Now-a- days the pensioners are facing great hardship in these hard days of economic depression and being prone to fatal diseases / ailments in their old age and direly in need of money to meet out the expenditure incurred on medicines for their regular treatment", he added.
