Jammu, Sept 29: Delhi Public School, Jammu won galaxy of medals in Inter District Athletic Meet-2016 organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu, held at M.A Stadium, Jammu on 20th to 24th Sept., 2016 by winning 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 2 Bronze Medals.
In Category U/17, the Gold Medal Winners were Aditi Aryan X-A (400 mts / 200 mts) and Ananya Chowdhary IX-G (Javelin throw). While Silver Medals in Category U/17 won by Ananya Chowdhary-IX G (Discuss Throw) and in Category U/14 by Adhav Sharma VIII-A (200 mts).
Bronze Medals won by in Category U/19, Harneet Singh-XII G (200 mts) and in Category U/14 Kriti Koul-VIII I (200 mts).
The Gold and Silver Medal winners have also qualified for the National level Athletic Meet which is going to be held later.
Principal, Delhi Public School, Jammu Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and lauded the efforts of the parents and the coach Mandeep Kour for their achievement.
Headmistress, Meenu Gupta appreciated the winners and the coach for the attainment and blesses them for their future endeavours. President RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh PVC, Ritu Singh Director S S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to the winners for their upcoming events. |
