Symposium on "BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO" 10/8/2016 9:23:01 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 8: The NSS Units of Govt. Degree College, Kathua today organized a Symposium on "BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO" . The event started around 1:00 P.M with the welcome address by Prof Shikha. Dr. Nater Singh Raina, Principal Govt. Degree College, Kathua was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He further said that this can be achieved only through awareness and change in the mindset of the society. For this there is responsibility on the shoulders of youth as well. 10 NSS volunteers who spoke on the occasion. The proceeding of the function was carried by Akansha Khajuria and Keshav Khajuria. Among the senior faculty, Prof.Shub Kumar, Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Mohinder and Dr. Kailash Sharma were also present on the occasion. The speakers were also presented the certificate of participation by the Principal. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Naresh Sharma.
