BHADERWAH, Oct 8: The zonal -level Masters Badminton Championships (ZLMBC) organized by Indian Army concluded at the Govt Hr Sec Schol boys, Bhaderwah stadium here today. Commanding Officer 4 RR was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up shuttlers on the valedictory function.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest underlined the importance of sports in inculcating the discipline and team spirit among the youth. In 43 years category, Ajit Singh Charak of PDD department bagged the title. In the 20 years category, GDC Bhaderwah emerged victorious while in 55 years category championship, RS Rajput of Bilaspur defeated BK Joshi of Solan and in 17 years category, GHSS girls clinched the title. In the 15 years category, the title was won by KV Bhaderwah . Arif Rana teachers assist in whole championship as a commentator. |
