Misappropriations in RDD alleged 10/8/2016 10:53:01 PM Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Oct 8: Functioning of the Rural Development Department (RDD) in block Bhalessa has come under severe criticism and locals in this block have alleged mass corruption and bungling in the schemes meant for the poor. Devinder Singh Parihar Sarpanch Shengani Panchayat Bhalessa, leveled serious allegations of corruption against one Junior Engineer (JE) Rural Development Engineering Departments Bhalessa of Doda district has demanded immediate suspension of the erring employees. Addressing a press conference here at Bhaderwah Parihar alleged that one contractual Junior Engineer posted in block Bhalessa is looting common masses and always demand commission for various rural area developmental works. Mr Parihar also claimed that Junior Engineer some days back also demanded enticement from him also which he denied and the said JE is now delaying the payment giving an excuse that delay in the payment under the MNREGA scheme has become a routine affair. Parihar added it seems that the authorities concerned deliberately adopt tactics to delay the payment to labourers engaged under this scheme.
